Ghanaian winger, Issahaku, expressed his ambition to contribute significantly to Leicester City’s return to the English Premier League after scoring in their recent 1-1 draw against Sheffield Wednesday.
The former Dreams FC player found the net in the 23rd minute at Hillsborough Stadium, showcasing his prowess.
Despite being substituted after 60 minutes, Issahaku remains determined to deliver impressive performances for the Championship side.
Speaking to the media post-game, he emphasized his commitment to scoring more goals and helping Leicester City secure a Premier League comeback by the end of the season.
“I scored but unfortunately we had a draw, we move on and prepare for our next game, I will fight my best for Leicester City, I want to score more goals and I hope with time more goals will come,” Issahaku told media after the game.
His primary focus is on aiding the club’s return to the Premiership, reinforcing the team’s dedication to the challenging campaign.
