Ghanaian left-back, Baba Rahman has been dropped from Ghana’s 25-man squad for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Chris Hughton named his first squad since his appointment as Ghana head coach on Thursday.
Rahman was part of the 26-man squad for the 2022 World Cup and started two in three of the group stage matches.
He came under immense scrutiny at the tournament with many attributing the defeat to Portugal to his lack of concentration.
He has featured 18 times Reading in the English Championship this season.
Ghana welcome Angola in the 2023 AFCON qualifiers on March 23 for the first leg with the return leg taking place four days later.
