English Premier League club, Leeds United have expressed interest in securing the services of Ghana’s left-back Gideon Mensah.
Manager Jesse Marsch, who worked with the defender during his time at Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg, wants to bring Gideon to Elland Road.
Mensah is currently a player under contract with French side Auxerre, who are willing to listen to offers from around 12 million euros.
The 24-year-old has had spells with Austrian sides RB Salzburg and Sturm Graz, Belgian outfit Zulte Waregem and Vitoria Guimaraes of Portugal.
Gideon was part of Black Stars squad for the 2022 FIFA World cup in Qatar including starting against South Korea in the second match of the group stages.
