Ghanaian sensation Lawrence Agyekum has opened up on his early days at Salzburg, describing it as “difficult”.
The midfielder secured a four-year move to the Austrain outfit after a blistering season in the Ghana Premier League.
He has made three appearances for the first team since signing for the League leaders.
Speaking to Joy Sports Lawrence said: “I would say I settled in well but the beginning, new system, new friends, new coach, new food, new environment so it will become difficult for you.
“It was very cold and first time playing such weather, it was a little bit difficult for me. But as time went on, two months, three months, I started adapting, got used to their system and I became one of them,” he concluded.
The Austrian Football Bundesliga will make a return in the first week of February as Salzburg look to maintain their lead at the top.
