Lawrence Agyekum has declared himself ready to break into Red Bull Salzburg first team for the second half of the season.
The youngster joined the Austrian giants on a four-year deal from Ghana Premier League outfit WAFA SC in 2022.
He featured three times for Salzburg this season before being loaned to the club’s lower side Liefering where they emerged runner-up in the 2021/22 UEFA Youth League.
Lawrence is confident of making his mark for Salzburg following his successful stint at the youth level.
“I know there will be a lot of competition in the team but I am ready. I am always ready even if it’s a minute I will get to play, I am ready to put in all my effort to help the team win,” Lawrence told JoySports.
The Austrian Football Bundesliga makes a return on February 10, 2023 as Salzburg sit at the top with 39 points after 16 matches.
