Latest FIFA Women’s ranking – Chinese Taipei, Haiti, Myanmar and Papua New Guinea all ranked ahead of Black Queens —

Ghana’s Black Queens have been 59th in the latest FIFA Women’s World Ranking.

The October 2022 ranking sees the Queens improve with an upward move from 60th berth in August 2022 to 59th out of 187 countries ranked by the world football governing body.

Ghana did not earn any points in the October ranking as the West African nation remains pecked at 1416.77 points. However, the three-time FIFA World Cup appearance makers profited from India’s loss. The South Asians sat above Ghana with 1425.51 points in the previous month’s ranking but suffered a 19.72-point loss.

While Ghana should be content with the latest ranking, some football fans in the nation would be shocked to find out that some lowly regarded nations are ranked ahead of Ghana in women’s football.

Despite holding a status of self-declared football nation, Ghana is not ranked among the top 50 football nations in the women’s division.

Haiti (56), Belarus (55), Philippines (53), Papua New Guinea (50), Myanmar (48), and Chinese Taipei (40) are all ranked ahead of Ghana in women’s football.
