Late goalkeeper Sylvester Sackey laid to rest today

Former Legon Cities goalkeeper Sylvester Sackey was laid to rest in Tarkwa today as sympathizers gathered to bid their final farewell.

Sackey passed away in September after a prolonged illness.

Tarkwa was filled with friends and family who came to pay their last respect to the shotstopper.

He joined Legon Cities from the Red Bull academy during the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League campaign.

Sackey spent over his three-year tenure with the Royals in the Ghanaian top-flight league and made 30 appearances.
