Former Black Starlets head coach Laryea Kingston has expressed willingness to return to coaching Ghana’s national teams, provided he receives adequate support.
Kingston stepped down as U-17 head coach in May after the Black Starlets’ semifinal defeat to Burkina Faso in the WAFU B Cup of Nations, which resulted in Ghana missing out on the AFCON tournament.
Despite his resignation, Kingston remains committed to Ghana football.
“For me, any day Ghana calls upon me and they will allow me and support me 110%, I am going to come back and give back to my country because this is what we are all looking for,” Kingston told Joy Sports.
“C.K. played the game and coached the game as well so if there is anything at all, people like us need more to give to our soccer at the moment than anything else.”
Following his resignation from the Ghana role, Laryea was appointed the head coach at RPS Academies in the United States.
