Head coach of German Bundesliga side SC Freiburg, Christian Streich has provided update on the injury of Ghanaian midfielder Daniel Kofi Kyereh.

The midfielder has been off from the field for nine months now after sustaining ligament injury at the beginning of the year.

Streich said Kyereh might be on his way sooner than expected.

“It’s better now. We’ll see that he no longer has any problems running.”

“I can’t make a prediction,” Streich added.

Kofi-Kyereh is expected to return to full recovery before the 2023 AFCON in Ivory Coast as Ghana will count on his talent for the tournament.
