Ghanaian gaffer James Kwesi Appiah has guided the Sudan national team to victory in his first match as the head coach.
Sudan beat Chad 1-0 in an international friendly at the King Fahd Sport City Stadium in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday.
He had led Sudan to a 1-1 stalemate against Tanzania.
Appiah signed a three-year deal with the task of reviving football in the Northeast African country.
He is assisted by former Techiman Eleven Wonders and Dreams FC coach, Ignatius Osei Fosu, while ex-Black Stars goalkeeper, Fatau Dauda, serves as the goalkeeper’s trainer.
