Sudan head coach James Kwesi Appiah is eyeing victory against Algeria as his side gears up for the 2024 CHAN quarter-final in Zanzibar.
The Sudanese have impressed at the tournament, hammering Nigeria 4-0 in their opener before drawing with Congo and Senegal to book their spot in the knockout stage.
Speaking after the Senegal clash, Appiah praised the support his team has received in Zanzibar and promised not to disappoint.
“The people of Zanzibar have been fantastic. We wouldn’t like to let them down in terms of the quality of our football… To our fans across the world, we will not let you down,” he assured.
Sudan will face Algeria on August 23 at Amaan Stadium, with a semi-final place at stake.
