Kwesi Appiah signs Sudan contract till 2026

Former Black Stars coach James Kwesi Appiah has inked official contract with the Sudan FA to officially take over the national team till October 2026.

The Ghanaian gaffer joined the Sudan national team together with Ignatius Osei Fosu as assistant and Fatawu Dauda as goalkeeper’s trainer.

Sudan played out a 1-1 with Tanzania and defeated Chad 1-0 in the just ended FIFA International friendlies as part of preparation towards the FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Appiah will have his first competitive test against Togo and DR. Congo on November, 15, and 18, in Saudi Arabia respectively.
