Queens Park Rangers have secured the signing of Ghana international Kwame Poku, beating out competition from Rangers in a late move ahead of the winger’s contract expiry at Peterborough United.
The 23-year-old, born in London, had a standout 2024/25 campaign in League One ; scoring 12 goals and registering 11 assists in 31 appearances, despite a spell out with injury.
QPR agreed a compensation deal with Peterborough to bring the creative wide man to Loftus Road, marking the beginning of a new era under incoming head coach Julien Stéphan.
With over 200 senior games and 73 goal contributions, Poku returns to the Championship with added experience, and is expected to play a key role in QPR’s rebuild.
