USM Algers striker Kwame Opoku will not join Hearts of Oak in the next transfer window, sources have told kickoffghana.com
Reports have linked the former Kotoko forward with a return to the local scene and for the Phobians.
Currently, the MTN FA cup champions are looking to put their house in order after the exit in the CAF Champions League by snatching Opoku.
However, it is understood the player has held no discussion with Hearts over a move.
The highly-rated forward joined USM Algers two years ago but has found it difficult to establish himself in starting eleven.
Opoku scored seven goals for Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC in the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season before leaving the club.
