Kwadwo Asamoah: Coming back from injury is not a joke

Italian Serie A winner Kwadwo Asamoah has revealed battling recurrent injuries this season “is not a joke”.

The Juventus midfielder returned to action after last November after more than a year out injured.

Despite his worries, he made nine appearances to help the Old Lady clinch a fifth straight Scuddeto and for him his personal fourth.

“Coming back from injury is not a joke, I’m fully fit now and looking forward to have more playing time,” Asamoah said.

“The whole team is happy and we are hoping to win greater things in Europe and not just in Italy.

“We will continue to work hard and see what the future holds but at the moment I am really excited about us winning the league.”

Asamoah joined Juventus in 2012 from fellow Serie A side Udinese.
