The midfielder says he is so bothered by the lack of transfer progress that is has diluted his joy at being recalled for a place in the Black Stars for next week’s friendly international against South Africa in Johannesburg.
“There are a few things on the transfer market occupying my thought right now, a few things which is priority for me,” he told KickOffGhana.com.
“There are offers from Olympiakos and Panathinaikos but none of those clubs has been able to reach a deal with my present club even when I want something sorted quickly.”
Kumordzie feels a move to one of those clubs after two impressive seasons with Panionis will be a step forward for him but he admits even that will not beat becoming a regular with the Black Stars.
“I know there is a lot of competition now especially in midfield so I am happy to get the chance to compete again for my place. I think once I play regularly at club level as I did in the previous seasons and stay fit, then I have a chance like the other players.”
