Tottenham manager Thomas Frank has provided an update on Mohammed Kudus’ injury, stating that the Ghanaian midfielder is expected to be out until after the March international break.
Kudus suffered a quad injury during Tottenham’s 1-1 draw with Sunderland, forcing him off the pitch after just 19 minutes.
“He’s going for a scan here, 1 o’clock, to clarify the issue. So, unfortunately, I don’t have, how can I say, a big update on it,” Frank said.
“Mohammed Kudus unfortunately is a bigger one to the tendon in the quad. That is one where we expect him back after the March international break”
Kudus has been a key player for Tottenham this season, providing three goals and six assists across all competitions.
His absence will be a significant blow to the team, especially with their upcoming fixture against Bournemouth.
