Mohammed Kudus grabbed his first UEFA Champions League goal for Tottenham Hotspur as the English side defeated Slavia Prague 3–0 on Tuesday night.

The Ghanaian midfielder started the final group game and featured for nearly an hour before making way for Mathys Tel.

Tottenham took the lead midway through the first half when Slavia defender David Zima accidentally headed a corner into his own net.

Spurs kept the pressure on after the break and were awarded a penalty in the 50th minute following a VAR review.

Kudus stepped up and calmly converted from the spot to give his side a comfortable advantage.

A second penalty in the closing stages which was finished by Xavi Simons, sealed the victory and ensured Spurs returned to winning form in Europe.

The result adds to what has been a promising campaign for Kudus, who now has eight goal contributions since joining Tottenham from West Ham United in the summer.
