Tottenham midfielder Mohammed Kudus reflected on his team’s 1-0 loss to Bournemouth on Saturday, acknowledging the physicality of the match.
“We knew they were a very tough team to play with, bit different kind of game,” he said, noting Bournemouth’s reliance on long balls and winning duels.
Kudus felt that Spurs struggled to create scoring opportunities, admitting, “I think we didn’t really create enough today, including myself as forward players.”
He emphasized the importance of learning from the defeat, stating, “We learn from games like this and then focus on next game after international.”
Kudus highlighted the team’s positive mentality despite the loss, saying,
“We hope to win every single game but I don’t think we will but it’s about the mentality and the positivity.”
He praised his teammates for maintaining their effort until the end, noting, “I think even we lost today, we kept going on to the last minute.”
With the international break approaching, Kudus and his team will look to regroup and prepare for their next challenge.
