Mohammed Kudus says his impressive form this season is down to the trust and freedom he enjoys at Tottenham Hotspur.

The Ghana midfielder has quickly become one of the league’s most dangerous dribblers, sitting just behind Manchester City winger Jeremy Doku in that category.

Kudus explained that Spurs’ setup allows him to express himself without hesitation.

“Taking on the player. I just keep trying over and over again,” he said on the Premier League’s UNCUT.

He noted that the club encourages him to stay bold even when early attempts don’t come off.

“Even if I don’t succeed one, two, three times, I keep trying, you know, and happy to be in an environment where I’m being encouraged to also keep trying, you know, not playing safe after not succeeding one or two times because the third time might be a chance or a goal.”

Kudus added that the support around him helps him maximize what he brings to the pitch.

“You know, it means a lot to be in an environment where you are appreciated and understood by the players around, staff, to get you in a position where you can use your personal attributes to have an impact for the team, you know, and I get that a lot here, you know.”

Kudus has already hit the ground running with five Premier League goal contribution for the North London side.
