Ghanaian forwards Mohammed Kudus and Antoine Semenyo have been shortlisted for the Premier League Player of the Week award following their outstanding performances over the weekend.
Kudus played a starring role in Tottenham Hotspur’s 2-1 victory over Leeds United, scoring once and assisting Mathys Tel’s opener at Elland Road.
Semenyo, meanwhile, inspired Bournemouth’s thrilling 3-1 comeback win over Fulham with a brace and an assist, continuing his impressive run of form this season.
Both players were also included in the official Premier League Team of the Week and now compete for the matchday seven accolade alongside Chelsea’s Moises Caicedo, Manchester United’s Benjamin Šeško, Arsenal’s Declan Rice, Everton’s Jack Grealish, Aston Villa’s Donyell Malen, and Newcastle United’s Bruno Guimarães.

The in-form duo have since joined the Black Stars camp in Morocco ahead of Ghana’s crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against the Central African Republic on Wednesday.
A win would confirm Ghana’s place at next year’s global showpiece before their final match against Comoros.
