The AC Milan midfielder who became a Ghanaian international last June in the build up to the 2010 World Cup played his first match on Ghanaian soil in the 3-1 win over Congo. He had dominated the build up to the game and got a wonderful reception as he emerged from the tunnel before a packed crowd at the Baba Yara Stadium. “I am happy we won the game and it was very very important everything worked for us. Personally it didn’t go well for me because I was kind of tired,” he told KickOffGhana.com. “The support for me and the team today was incredible. I am very thankful that the people came out for us so well.”
