Defender Gilbani Samba O’Neil has been named Asante Kotoko’s Player of the Season following an impressive 2024/25 campaign.
The dependable centre-back was a standout performer in both league and cup competitions, helping the Porcupine Warriors secure a third-place league finish and lift the FA Cup.
His efforts were rewarded by supporters group Circle 008 (China), who presented him with a Golden Ball trophy and cash prize.
Samba O’Neil is back in camp with the rest of the squad as Kotoko gear up for their pre-season tour in South Africa.
