Former Ghana international Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu remains optimistic that Asante Kotoko will recover following their recent defeat to Legon Cities.
Kotoko’s unbeaten run in the current campaign ended with a 2-1 loss at the Legon Sports Stadium on Wednesday.
Albert Yeboah put Legon Cities ahead, but Kotoko’s Albert Amoah quickly equalized.
However, Abdul Rahman’s late goal sealed the win for Legon Cities, bringing Kotoko’s streak to a disappointing end.
“I’ve watched a lot of games, and Kotoko have been playing well but one loss in eight games isn’t bad,” he said.
“They still have a lot of room for improvement. Kotoko have injuries, but some players are recovering; they’ll get better,” he added.
Currently in second place with 15 points, Kotoko aim to bounce back when they host Hearts of Lions on November 3.
