Asante Kotoko head coach Karim Zito has revealed that the club will begin their pre-season preparations on Wednesday, July 30, in Cape Coast.
The Porcupine Warriors recently returned to Ghana after clinching the 2025 Toyota Cup, edging South African giants Kaizer Chiefs on penalties at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.
Speaking to the media, Zito disclosed that the squad will be given a few days off before regrouping for camp.
“I shouldn’t go all out at the moment. We will start running very soon,” Zito said.
“Maybe on Wednesday we’ll begin the pre-season camp in Cape Coast.”
The team will continue their build-up to the 2025/26 season with the GHALCA Top 4 tournament, set for August 20–24 at the Baba Yara Stadium, ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup campaign.
