Ghanaian goalkeeper Razak Abalora has officially parted ways with Albanian top-flight side KF Egnatia Albasani, becoming a free agent.
The former Asante Kotoko shot-stopper was released from his contract earlier than expected, reportedly due to a disagreement with the club.
Abalora, who left Kotoko in 2022, enjoyed a solid stint there, earning a Black Stars call-up during his time.
Now back on the market, he’s become a prime target for Kotoko as they look to reinforce their squad ahead of next season’s Premier League title charge.
The club sees the return of the experienced keeper as a major boost in their rebuilding efforts.
Talks are said to be ongoing behind the scenes and a reunion in Kumasi could be on the cards very soon.
