Asante Kotoko midfielder Emmanuel Antwi has expressed disappointment following the team’s failure to win the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League title.
The Porcupines had aimed for a domestic double but fell short as Bibiani Gold Stars were crowned champions.
Antwi admitted the players are not satisfied with the outcome despite giving their all during the season.
“We, the players, are a bit disappointed in ourselves,” he said.
“We had set a target to win both the league and the FA Cup, so not winning the league is disappointing.”
However, the 25-year-old believes there’s still a chance to make things right. “We are still in the FA Cup final, and we have one more game to make it up to the supporters,” he added.
Kotoko will be hoping to end the season on a high when they battle Golden Kick for silverware in the FA Cup final slated for June 15 at the University of Ghana Stadium.
