Asante Kotoko has parted ways with head coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum due to a string of underwhelming performances in the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.
Ogum, who previously led the team to league glory in the 2021/22 campaign, was reappointed in July 2023.
However, recent results haven’t met expectations, including a winless streak in their last four matches, culminating in a 2-0 defeat to Nations FC.
The Porcupine Warriors sit fourth on the league table with 47 points after 28 matches, six points behind league leaders Bibiani Gold Stars.
“Asante Kotoko Sporting Club has this afternoon parted company with Head Coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, ” club statement said.
A ssubstantive appointment is expected to be made in the coming days.
