Asante Kotoko midfielder Sheriff Mohammed is at the heart of the team’s recent success in the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League.
After a slow start, the Porcupine Warriors secured two consecutive victories, a 1-0 win against Accra Lions and another 1-0 triumph over Aduana Stars.
Mohammed emphasized the team’s resilience, stating, “We remain unfazed by the pressure from our supporters.” His insights shed light on how the Porcupine Warriors have transformed from a sluggish beginning to an impressive resurgence.
He also offered advice to fellow players, acknowledging the emotional nature of fan comments. “Sometimes, you have to refrain from taking those comments to heart, as it can impact your performance,” Mohammed explained in an interview with Peace FM.
He urged players to understand the fans’ frustrations and the importance of delivering good performances, emphasizing the need to give their best, work hard, and strive to achieve their goals.
