Asante Kotoko have penned a message to fans of the club following their disastrous showing in Morocco on Friday in the CAF Confederation Cup against Wydad Athletic Club.
The Porcupine Warriors were thumped 5-1, losing the tie against Wydad 6-1 on aggregate and suffering elimination from the competition in the second round.
“This is not the end of the journey. A setback is a setup for a comeback. We are already focused on the task ahead, and we are committed to turning things around. Our belief is not wavered,” part of the letter read.
“We call on every Porcupine Warrior to fill the stands in our upcoming matches. Let us unite as one force, wear red colours with pride and roar the team to victory,” the letter continued.
The Reds will next face sworn rivals Heart of Oak in the Ghana Premier League.
