Asante Kotoko’s Communications Director, Sarfo Duku, says the team will fight until the end for success in the Ghana Premier League and MTN FA Cup.
Despite a slim chance of winning the league, Kotoko advanced to the FA Cup final after beating Berekum Chelsea 1-0.
They face Golden Kick in the final and are heavy favorites to win.
“We’re focusing on both the league and the FA Cup,” Duku said. “Technically, we can win the league, but it’s difficult. Until the final whistle in the last match of the league, we cannot say it’s over. Because technically, it’s possible, although difficult.”
Kotoko have been impressive since Karim Zito’s appointment as interim coach, winning three games and drawing two across all competitions.
They face Medeama on Sunday, looking to maintain their title charge. Duku’s comments reflect the team’s determination to pursue a domestic double, despite the challenges.
