Asante Kotoko coach Seydou Zerbo has accused referee Amadu Ibrahim of favoring Aduana Stars during their MTN FA Cup tie.

The Porcupine Warriors crashed out of the competition following a 1-0 defeat at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park on Sunday.

The Ogya boys were awarded a controversial penalty in the 57th minute after Mohammed Alhassan brought down his marker in the box.

The referee pointed to the spot and Sam Adams stepped up to score what turned out to be the winner.

Speaking to reporters after the match, the Burkinabe trainer did not mince words as he talked about he perceived to be unfair officiating on the part of the centre referee.

“Yes we were defeated but it is the referee’s effort that won the match for Aduana” he said.
