Asante Kotoko head coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum has slammed the senior players in the squad, labeling them as ‘politicians’.
Kotoko have not had the best of starts this term with just wins in nine matches.
Pressure mounts on Ogum to turn things around as they are a point above the relegation zone.
Cncerns have been been raised about dressing room unrest contributing to the disappointing so far campaign.
But OOgum rubbished the claims but rather expressed his discontent with the attitude of some players in the squad, forcing him to select the youngsters for matches.
“I tell them most of you (senior players) are politicians but l don’t want to mind you,” Ogum told the media ahead of Samartex clash.
“Players stay in Kotoko after one -two-years they turn into politicians. They use the media to fight for positions to play but me as coach, you will never get me.”
