Asante Kotoko head coach Abdul Karim Zito has hailed his Heart of Lions counterpart, Bashir Hayford, as one of the finest tacticians in Ghana ahead of their Week 4 Ghana Premier League clash.
The Porcupine Warriors welcome the Kpando side to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday, October 5, in what promises to be a tough contest.
Speaking in his pre-match interview, Zito admitted the tactical battle will be intriguing but stressed that the outcome will ultimately depend on how the players execute instructions.
“Bashir Hayford is one of the best coaches we have in the country, so definitely the mantle will be with the players we are going to play,” he said. “I have talked to my boys to forget about Africa for now and focus on this game. On the table every home match should be a win. This is the mentality we are going to meet them with.”
Kick-off is scheduled for 3 pm at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
