Sports Minister Kofi Adams has encouraged Asante Kotoko ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup campaign.
After witnessing Kotoko’s 2-1 win over Hearts of Oak in the President Cup, Adams praised the team’s spirit and urged them to maintain their confidence as they prepare for the Confederation Cup.
“You were so solid against Hearts of Oak. When we go to Africa with this kind of spirit, we will conquer every team. I just want to encourage and motivate you that you can make it, don’t be afraid,” Adams said.
Kotoko’s Confederation Cup journey begins in September, with the first round scheduled for September 19-21.
Before the Confederation Cup, Kotoko will travel to South Africa to play against Kaizer Chiefs in the Toyota Cup as part of their preparations.
