Chairperson of the Women’s FA Cup Committee, Rosalind Amoh, believes current Black Queens head coach Kim Björkegren has outperformed his predecessor Nora Häuptle.
Speaking after Ghana’s third-place finish at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), Amoh said the team’s progress under Björkegren is evident.
“Kim Björkegren has done better than Nora Häuptle. The performance and the result speak for themselves,” she said.
The Queens bounced back from a slow start to beat defending champions South Africa in the bronze medal match, securing Ghana’s first WAFCON medal in over a decade.
