Hertha BSC forward Kevin Prince Boateng is a major doubt to be available for next weekend’s clash with Schalke O4 in the Bundesliga.
The former Ghanaian international missed his team’s training session on Tuesday due to an infection, the club confirmed.
The 35 year old has not yet been ruled out of the Schalke game but faces a race against time to be fit.
“We’ll have to see how Prince develops. He may be able to work individually again in the next few days, ”said Coach Schwarz.
The game against the Royal Blues kicks off on Sunday at 5:30 p.m at the Berlin Olympic Stadium.
