Now, the city’s most notable kebab enthusiast is fulfilling his pledge. There will be a major doner kebab competition before the home game against Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday.
The Hakiki doner kebab kiosk near the Olympic Stadium on the Sud-Ost-Wiese will serve the supporters.
The former AC Milan midfielder enjoys Turkish cuisine. It became so bad that four years ago, while he was playing for US Sassuolo, he boarded a plane from Italy and travelled to Berlin simply for a kebab.
