Hay ford has been on what he calls “mental leave” since he was sacked by Kumasi As ante Kotoko before the start of the Ghana season but KickOffGhana.com understands he has been lured out of that leave by Kessben who are into their second season in the Ghana top-flight.
Kessben turned to former national U-20 coach Edusei after they parted ways with Dutchman Van der Pl yum, but just five points from their opening six games of the season have left them considering their options.
Hay ford has a fine record in Ghana, having impressed with Power FC before joining Heart of Lions and subsequently Kumasi As ante Kotoko with whom he won the league title last season.
If the move materializes, it will add to the managerial merry-go-round that has been going on in Kumasi lately.
Kumasi King Faisal has re-signed Steve Pollack after discovering Rashid Iddi was not up to it.
