Newly appointed Nations FC CEO Kennedy Boakye-Ansah says he’s prepared for the challenges that come with leading the club, describing the role as demanding but manageable.
Boakye-Ansah, who replaces Kwame Twumasi-Danquah ahead of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season, told Citi Sports: “I didn’t have to think twice, I readily accepted the offer. I know the ins and outs of the club. I have the capacity to also lead.”
He acknowledged the weight of the role but remains confident, adding, “It’s going to be a huge task, but it is extremely surmountable. With the support of my management team, I’m pretty sure we’ll be successful.”
Nations FC finished fifth last season despite forfeiting a key match against Basake Holy Stars, which cost them a shot at the title.
