Asante Kotoko head coach Karim Zito has set a target to reach the group stage of the upcoming CAF Confederation Cup.
The Porcupine Warriors qualified for the competition after winning the FA Cup final 2-1 against Golden Kick FC.
Kwame Opoku scored both goals, including a penalty in the 89th minute.
“Kotoko has a lot of programs I think on the 6th we are playing Accra Hearts of Oak and then again we are also to travel to South Africa to play some tournament,” Zito said on Peace FM.
“So you see how busy we will be all will be in preparing for the coming Confederation Cup so we are going to do our best we will try to join the group.”
With a busy schedule ahead, Zito emphasized that the team will do its best to prepare for the Confederation Cup. Reaching the group stage is the main goal, and the team will work towards achieving it through their upcoming matches and tournament participation.
