Head coach of Dreams FC, Karim Zito, expressed disappointment with the rainy conditions that affected their Ghana Premier League week six fixture against Aduana FC on Sunday.
Zito’s remarks followed Dreams FC’s 2-0 loss to Aduana FC at Nana Agyemang Badu Park in Dormaa Ahenkro, with goals from Emmanuel Marfo and Abubakar Sams securing the win for the hosts.
“We don’t play football in the rain, especially in Africa,” Zito said
“Looking at the field and weather, I wouldn’t have played the game today, but I’m not the one to judge. There are people in charge, and as long as they say we should play, we have to.”
The defeat continued Dreams FC’s struggles, as they remain winless with just three points from six matches.
Their next challenge will be against Hearts of Oak in their week seven fixture of the league.
