Karela United identifies players to augment squad in upcoming transfer window

Karela United coach Shaibu Ibrahim Tanko has disclosed his outfit have identified some players to augment their squad in the upcoming transfer window.

The Tamale-based club has been unimpressive so far this season, winning just two games, losing five and drawing six games after 13 matches into the Ghana Premier League campaign.

With 12 points, Karela united find themselves on the 17th position in the Premier League standings.

Coach Tanko is concerned about the team’s struggle and has therefore revealed they will beef up the squad in the next window.

“We are discussing to see players we will bringing in next transfer window. We’ve identified some players we will use to augment the team” he said.

The former Real Tamale United tactician also opened up on the way forward for the struggling Karela United.

“The way forward is to make sure that we make it within our means and then pick up the pieces” he said.

Karela United will travel to Nsoatre to face inform Nsoatreman FC at the Nana Amoah Koramansah Park on Sunday in the week 14 clash.
