Kamaldeen Sulemana is set undergo his medical in France in the coming hours ahead of a proposed deadline day move to Premier League side, Southampton.
The Ghanaian winger will then fly to England to put pen to paper on a four-and-half-year contact.
The 20 year old joins the Saints for €25m plus €3m in add-ons from French side, Stade Rennes.
He chose Southampton ahead of Premier League rivals Everton, who made a verbal offer for him on Sunday.
Since making the move to France in 2021, Kamaldeen scored six goals and four assists in 47 appearances for Stade Rennes.
