Ghanaian winger Kamaldeen Sulemana provided an assist in Atalanta’s friendly match against Monza from a corner kick as the Bergamo side won 2-1.
Sulemana recently joined Atalanta from Southampton on a four-year deal worth €17.5 million, with potential add-ons of €4 million.
The 23-year-old’s versatility and direct attacking play are expected to enhance Atalanta’s frontline.
Atalanta’s head coach, Ivan Juric, has previously praised Sulemana’s talent but admitted the Ghanaian needs polishing,
“He is a guy who needs to be developed. He is not a finished player, but he really wants to grow.”
Sulemana’s experience playing alongside Juric at Southampton could aid his development.
