Kamal Sowah, Denis Odoi bow out of Champions League after heavy loss to Benfica

Ghanaian duo Kamal Sowah and Denis Odoi have suffered elimination from the Champions League with Club Brugge after defeat to Benfica.

The Belgian side endured a 5-1 loss away to the Portuguese giants on Tuesday evening.

Sowah lasted 75 minutes before he was replaced by Antonio Nusa while fellow countryman, Odoi was a second-half substitute.

Both are likely to be part of the Black Stars squad that will play the upcoming AFCON qualification matches against Angola.

Club Brugge will now focus on their domestic league following the elimination.
