Fiorentina and Juventus will both be looking to end the Serie A season on a high note when they go head-to-head at the Stadio Artemio Franchi on Saturday.

Juventus can only finish fourth in the table. Max Allegri’s men find themselves six points behind third-place Napoli and seven points clear of fifth-place Lazio.

Meanwhile, seventh-place Fiorentina can finish as high as sixth and as low as eighth. They are currently one point behind Roma and level with eighth-place Atalanta on 59 points.

It wouldn’t be unfair to say that Fiorentina are in poor form at the moment, having lost four of their previous five Serie A outings.

Following defeats to Salernitana (2-1), Udinese (4-0) and AC Milan (1-0), Fiorentina claimed a 2-0 win over Roma before suffering a 4-1 loss to Sampdoria last weekend.

After conceding 11 goals across their past five matches, Fiorentina have the second-worst defensive record in the top eight.

Still, Fiorentina can take confidence from the fact that they have only lost two of their previous 15 home games in the league.

On the flip side, Juventus head into Saturday’s clash on the back of a 2-2 draw against Lazio – despite taking a two-goal lead in the first half.

Last weekend’s defeat means that Juve are currently enduring a two-game winless streak – their longest run without a Serie A victory since mid-February.

That said, it is important to remember that Juventus have suffered only two defeats in their past 23 league outings. They have also won seven of their previous 11.

Having avoided defeat in the first half of each of their previous 12 away games in Serie A, Allegri’s men are expected to start strongly on Saturday.

Head-to-head: Fiorentina and Juventus have already faced each other three times this season, with Juventus claiming a clean-sheet victory on every occasion.

In terms of the wider picture, Fiorentina have only managed to win four of their last 37 Serie A encounters against the Old Lady.

Team news: Fiorentina will be without the injured pair of Geatano Castrovilli (knee surgery) and Riccardo Sottil (muscle fatigue) on Saturday.

As for Juventus, they will be without several high-profile players – including Federico Chiesa, Weston McKennie, Danilo and Arthur.

Given that Fiorentina have lost four of their past five Serie A outings, Juventus are expected to come out on top at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.

Forebet predicts that both teams will score on Saturday. However, Juventus should have enough firepower to outscore Fiorentina.
