Serie A giants Juventus are set to table a bid for Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte.
Juve are in the market for a central defender to replace the departing Giorgio Chiellini and according to toIl Corriere dello Sport, Laporte ticks all the boxes the Italian giants are looking for in a defender.
A tall task to defend against ?

The 28-year-old is said to be keen on leaving the Etihad due to a lack of consistent playing time with the World Cup set to take place later in the year where he wants to be part of the Spain squad.
City has John Stones and Ruben Dias as Pep Guardiola’s first center backs but the Spaniard has been rotating his players owing to constant injuries to Stones with Nathaniel Ake being the other player who can slot in central defence.
Laporte joined the Manchester club in January 2018 for a reported £58.5million from Spanish club Athletic Bilbao, and it is thought that City would struggle to break even on any deal to sell the defender, much less make a profit.
