The 33-year-old former Asante Kotoko captain brings a wealth of experience to the Iraqi club, having played over 50 league matches for Kotoko and featuring for the Black Stars B team.
Blay, known for his technical skill and midfield vision, is expected to strengthen Al Kadhimiya’s squad as they aim for promotion to the top tier.
He will reunite with fellow Ghanaian Gideon Tetteh at the Baghdad-based club.
