Jurgen Klopp could yet take German job

The beautiful story that Jurgen Klopp has written with Liverpool will soon come to an end, and it’s already known that the German wants at least a year’s sabbatical from the game.

In his leaving announcement Klopp noted that his energy reserves were low and that he needed to recharge the batteries before decided what to do next.

Germany want Klopp… in a year

With Barcelona one big European club that would surely love to have him sat on the bench, his timing – given Xavi’s own resignation at the end of the campaign – couldn’t have been better.

However, it seems that, come hell or high water, Klopp will be doing exactly as he’d said and taking a year off to spend with his family.

Jurgen Klopp could be the next coach of the German national team

Significantly, that doesn’t appear to have put off those in charge of the German national team.

According to Football Transfers, they’re happy to wait for the year in order to bring Klopp on board when he feels the time is right to get back into football.

The outlet also note that it’s a job the the 56-year-old is desperate for, and given that the position would arguably give him more time to spend with his family when compared to working for another club, it would appear to be the perfect solution.
